Some more about us
We all have different specialties, last names, and are based out of different places. Shea, Kyle, Levi and Rose all got started in the same place - inside of Candace. Gross, right?
Born in Calgary, Alberta, Rose studied photography at San Francisco State University and Concordia University. During these years she interned at Juxtapoz Magazine and Vice Magazine. Rose has produced shoots for Agent Provocateur, Jaguar, Roxy, John Casablancas Vancouver, and Established Models London, and has been a team member on commercial shoots for Goop, Vibe, Vans, The Knot, London Times, LA Magazine, and Mother Denim. Rose recently worked as the 2nd Camera Assistant on Hallmark's Autumn In The Vineyard with Rachael Leigh Cooke. See more of her work on her website.
Kyle is a film director and producer working between Vancouver and LA. He has been lucky enough to work on commercial projects in Canada, U.S, U.K, France, Belize, Cambodia and Costa Rica. On the wall he's got a Bachelor of Arts from the BOSA Center for Film and Animation (2012). Some of what he is up to in the industry is hush-hush, of course, but you can see clips of his award-winning independent projects on his website as well as watch things that are just plain cool.
Based out of Vancouver, Levi McCachen has been writing and performing stand-up comedy for 5 years. In 2015 he performed at the Pemberton Music Festival where he shared the stage with T.J. Miller, Harland Williams, Nick Offerman among others. He was recently featured on the Just For Laughs Up and Comer Showcase at the Comedy Mix in Vancouver. Check out more funny stuff on his website.
Shea is an artist, designer, and more recently, an independent publisher. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emily Carr, and a Masters of Fine Arts from UBC. Her books are available on etsy and amazon, and more of her artwork is visible on her website, www.sheaproulx.com She lives in Calgary, Alberta, with her husband, Ryan Proulx, and two young daughters.
Candace is a writer. She's the author of "Text Me, Love Mom," a feel-better book about her four artistic children leaving the proverbial nest. It's available on amazon. You can read more of her thoughts on 'the next stage of parenting,' and a myriad of other topics, on her blog. Our family website, though a super good idea, would never have been completed if she didn't "parent" us into finally putting it together. Her youngest, Rose, took this photo! Isn't she brilliant?
